Privacy Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist in the response to privacy and security incidents related to personal data, which includes triage, containment, root cause analysis, and tracking of remediation efforts;

• Evaluate the scope and severity of incidents by identifying affected systems, categories of data, impacted individuals, logs, APIs, databases, and exposure vectors;

• Analyze documentation related to privacy, security, and data governance, including incident response playbooks, technical procedures, and materials regarding access control;

⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical findings—such as cloud misconfigurations, gaps in access control, or log exposure—as privacy, regulatory, and business risks;

• Capability to assist in incident handling activities, which encompass impact assessments, evidence collection, follow-up on containment, and tracking remediation;

• Ability to collaborate with teams in Security, Engineering, Product, Legal, and Compliance on matters pertaining to privacy and security;

• Prior experience in Privacy, Data Protection, Information Security, Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, Security Operations, or Incident Response;

• Practical experience dealing with incidents involving cloud environments, logs, credentials, or failures in access control;

• Technical knowledge of cloud infrastructure, monitoring, logging, encryption, and identity/access management;
