Principal Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Join our team in developing a data-centric product leveraging top-tier open-source technologies such as Kafka, Trino, DuckDB, and Superset.

• Collaborate on both backend and frontend aspects to create comprehensive features that simplify data interaction, allowing users to craft compelling data narratives through our platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in building RESTful APIs, taking concepts from inception to implementation in one of the following programming languages: Go (preferred), Java, Python, Rust (nice to have), or Scala.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with frontend frameworks, specifically React, with an emphasis on Typescript or Javascript.

• Strong expertise in software design principles and architecture.

• Familiarity with large-scale relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch to meet low-latency demands.

• Experience in developing and deploying software within cloud-native environments.

• Proficient in utilizing various package managers and dependency managers, including Maven, Gradle, and NPM.

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, encompassing containerization techniques and experience with distributed cluster management.

• Experience collaborating with AI coding assistants.

• Proven track record of taking on significant responsibilities and managing complex project lifecycles.

• A background in STEM or relevant industry experience is required.

• Ability to obtain Security+ certification within 90 days of employment with Raft.
