
Principal Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Oversee the management and expansion of the DOS and Training products and services.
β’ Evaluate and analyze market conditions and competitive landscapes to ensure the Voice of the Customer (VoC) is integrated into the product development process.
β’ Direct product strategies and roadmaps to enhance WEC's market share.
β’ Spearhead the development of product heatmaps and prioritize demand creation efforts.
β’ Assist account, sales, and tendering teams in generating leads and opportunities.
β’ Support Business Units (BUs), account, and sales teams (including OPx teams) in crafting sales presentations and talking points.
β’ Manage the product lifecycle and assist with new product introduction (NPI) projects to achieve business objectives.
β’ Aid in delivering profit and loss (P&L) to establish tendering tools and processes.
β’ Act as a consultant for the tendering team on technical clarifications, product pricing strategies, and the WEC value proposition for customers.
β’ Engage directly with customers to stimulate demand in collaboration with other teams.
β’ Collaborate across OPx organizations to align and direct consistent priorities.
β’ Assist in Sales Pacing preparation with OPx Regional Centers, Global Markets, and BU Sales to report operational efficiency metrics, risks, and opportunities.
β’ Support the software product development life cycle, including development, maintenance, and innovation.
β’ A bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, information technology, or computer science.
β’ A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
