Principal Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the management and expansion of the DOS and Training products and services.

• Evaluate and analyze market conditions and competitive landscapes to ensure the Voice of the Customer (VoC) is integrated into the product development process.

• Direct product strategies and roadmaps to enhance WEC's market share.

• Spearhead the development of product heatmaps and prioritize demand creation efforts.

• Assist account, sales, and tendering teams in generating leads and opportunities.

• Support Business Units (BUs), account, and sales teams (including OPx teams) in crafting sales presentations and talking points.

• Manage the product lifecycle and assist with new product introduction (NPI) projects to achieve business objectives.

• Aid in delivering profit and loss (P&L) to establish tendering tools and processes.

• Act as a consultant for the tendering team on technical clarifications, product pricing strategies, and the WEC value proposition for customers.

• Engage directly with customers to stimulate demand in collaboration with other teams.

• Collaborate across OPx organizations to align and direct consistent priorities.

• Assist in Sales Pacing preparation with OPx Regional Centers, Global Markets, and BU Sales to report operational efficiency metrics, risks, and opportunities.

• Support the software product development life cycle, including development, maintenance, and innovation.

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, information technology, or computer science.

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
