Principal Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee the management and expansion of the DOS and Training products and services.

β€’ Evaluate and analyze market conditions and competitive landscapes to ensure the Voice of the Customer (VoC) is integrated into the product development process.

β€’ Direct product strategies and roadmaps to enhance WEC's market share.

β€’ Spearhead the development of product heatmaps and prioritize demand creation efforts.

β€’ Assist account, sales, and tendering teams in generating leads and opportunities.

β€’ Support Business Units (BUs), account, and sales teams (including OPx teams) in crafting sales presentations and talking points.

β€’ Manage the product lifecycle and assist with new product introduction (NPI) projects to achieve business objectives.

β€’ Aid in delivering profit and loss (P&L) to establish tendering tools and processes.

β€’ Act as a consultant for the tendering team on technical clarifications, product pricing strategies, and the WEC value proposition for customers.

β€’ Engage directly with customers to stimulate demand in collaboration with other teams.

β€’ Collaborate across OPx organizations to align and direct consistent priorities.

β€’ Assist in Sales Pacing preparation with OPx Regional Centers, Global Markets, and BU Sales to report operational efficiency metrics, risks, and opportunities.

β€’ Support the software product development life cycle, including development, maintenance, and innovation.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A bachelor's degree in engineering, business management, information technology, or computer science.

β€’ A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
