Principal Mobile Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the transformation of native mobile applications (Kotlin and Swift) towards a contemporary Super App architecture, guaranteeing:

• Technical and organizational scalability

• Exceptional user experience

• Rapid delivery pace

• Security incorporated from the outset

• Operational and financial efficiency

• Strategic implementation of Artificial Intelligence within the SDLC and product

• Establish the target architecture for the Super App

• Guide modularization approaches

• Advance native Android and iOS applications

• Specify integration strategies between modules/features

• Develop strategies for mobile micro-frontends / feature modules

• Define patterns for offline-first functionality, observability, and resilience

• Enhance enterprise-grade mobile CI/CD

• Serve as a technical reference for mobile teams

• Lead RFCs and architectural decision-making processes

• Set engineering benchmarks

• Mentor tech leads and senior engineers

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in Android architecture utilizing Kotlin

• Strong expertise in iOS architecture utilizing Swift

• Experience in large-scale enterprise applications

• Proficient in mobile modularization

• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD processes

• In-depth understanding of mobile performance

• Experience with publishing and managing governance in the App Store and Play Store

• Solid knowledge of:

• CI/CD

• Observability

• SAST/DAST

• OWASP Mobile

• Mobile security

• Experience in optimizing cloud expenditures

• Understanding of FinOps metrics

• Management of API and service consumption

• Experience with financial observability

• Previous experience with Super Apps

• Familiarity with domain-driven architecture

• Background in platform engineering

• Knowledge of productivity engineering using AI

• Strong technical influence and leadership skills

• Strategic vision coupled with hands-on execution capability

• Ability to navigate through complex environments

• Excellent communication skills with both business and technology stakeholders
