This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Define and govern the technical dimensions of the product portfolio and the associated engineering platforms.
• Sustain a long-term technical strategy, ensuring alignment with the portfolio reference architecture.
• Identify, monitor, and manage portfolio-level technical debt that affects scalability, maintainability, or reliability.
• Assess emerging technologies and convert innovative initiatives into actionable development paths.
• Assist engineering teams in navigating complex technical trade-offs and design decisions.
• Establish architectural assets, principles, standards, and reference patterns to guide engineering teams.
• Coordinate and execute architectural initiatives through architects embedded within development teams.
• Provide technical oversight for significant product capabilities and cross-system integrations.
• Align product architecture with both on-premises and cloud infrastructure capabilities and standards.
• Define architectural patterns that support service level objectives (SLOs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Collaborate with SRE teams on strategies for recovery, monitoring architecture, and capacity planning.
• Interface with security and compliance stakeholders to ensure conformity with regulatory and industry standards.
• MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in software engineering.
• Expertise in implementing distributed real-time data-processing environments.
• Experience leading architecture governance across multi-site engineering teams in intricate product organizations.
• Proven track record in leading agile teams in the capacity of product owner.
• Extensive technical knowledge in:
• Cloud platforms and distributed systems.
• Analytics, edge processing, and BI pipelines.
• API, microservice, and integration architectures.
• Generative AI / LLMs (OpenAI, LangChain, RAG, Agents, Vector DBs, etc.).
• Observability and reliability engineering.
• Secure software architecture.
• Experience in telecom software environments is advantageous.
• Familiarity with MLOps and model lifecycle is advantageous.
