Principal Engineer – Vue.js, Node.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Serve as a vital technical intermediary between business and engineering teams, converting commercial objectives into practical technical implementations.

• Assess publisher technical environments and create scalable, maintainable architectures.

• Develop client-ready solution proposals that encompass features, integrations, and tools.

• Lead cross-functional delivery teams, which include developers, designers, DevOps, and technical project managers.

• Provide architectural guidance throughout the development lifecycle to guarantee continuity and quality.

• Oversee distributed teams across various time zones.

• Mentor engineers, perform code reviews, and facilitate technical development.

• Make architectural decisions at both component and plugin levels, weighing trade-offs and clearly communicating choices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6+ years of practical experience in JavaScript / TypeScript, Vue.js, and Node.js.

• Proficiency in microservices architecture and the integration of distributed systems.

• Practical experience with AWS Lambda or similar serverless technologies.

• Extensive knowledge of plugin-based systems and extensibility points.

• Demonstrated capability to customize and augment existing solutions without compromising core functionality.

• Familiarity with AdTech environments with changing requirements.

• Knowledge of Vite, Cypress, and Vitest for contemporary development workflows and testing.

• Experience with AWS S3 and CloudFront for scalable storage and content delivery.

• Strong commercial insight and the ability to align business objectives with technical infrastructure.

• Proficient English communication skills for managing enterprise stakeholders.

• Experience with other serverless frameworks (e.g., Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions) is advantageous.

• Familiarity with enterprise e-commerce platforms is a plus.

• Understanding of performance optimization and security best practices is a plus.

• Prior experience in media publishing technology solutions is a plus.
