Principal Engineer – AI Engineering, AI Software Engineering, Applied AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop production-level AI systems.

• Convert product specifications into technical designs.

• Create robust evaluation frameworks and benchmarks.

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of AI features.

• Construct and manage the application layer surrounding foundational models.

• Enhance inference performance and throughput.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in software engineering.

• Practical experience in designing and deploying LLM-based features in a production environment.

• Proficient coding skills in Python and/or TypeScript.

• Strong understanding of the practical behavior of foundational models.

• Extensive knowledge of architectural patterns in production LLM systems.

• Experience with embeddings and information retrieval techniques.

• Proven track record in building offline and online evaluation pipelines for AI systems.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
