Principal Dev Ops Engineer

📋 Description

• Construct, uphold, and improve our Shared Hosting and Shared WordPress platforms

• Automate the provisioning, configuration, and deployment of infrastructure using tools such as Terraform and Ansible

• Create and sustain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate swift and dependable software delivery

• Enhance platform usability and performance

• Oversee platform health and establish proactive alerting and remediation systems

• Administer container orchestration environments (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)

• Manage and refine Apache web server configurations for optimal performance, security, and scalability

• Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance throughout the platform infrastructure

• Diagnose complex production issues and implement enduring solutions

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with Linux system administration

• In-depth knowledge of Apache/Nginx HTTP Server configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting

• Expertise in infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)

• Strong scripting abilities (Python, Bash)

• Good grasp of networking, security, and system architecture principles

• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team

• Availability for contact during non-working hours, including weekends and holidays

• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (Preferred)

• Familiarity with Jenkins CI/CD (Preferred)

• C/C++ proficiency to compile packages (Preferred)

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Grafana) (Preferred)

• Background in cloud platforms (OCI is a plus) (Preferred)
