
Principal Cyber Security Architecture Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide strategic direction for a team of security architects.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, data, AI, and infrastructure teams to design and implement secure enterprise solutions.
• Incorporate security throughout the solution lifecycle and advocate for Secure by Design principles.
• Offer guidance to business and technology stakeholders regarding cybersecurity architecture.
• Identify, evaluate, and address cybersecurity risks.
• Lead the implementation of security controls across traditional, cloud, SaaS, AI, generative AI, and agentic AI environments.
• Develop and sustain security architectures, policies, protocols, standards, and guidelines.
• Perform threat modeling, risk validation, and security assessments.
• Create strategies for mitigating unauthorized access, data breaches, data tampering, adversarial attacks, and various cyber threats.
• Define and enforce security requirements for enterprise AI deployments.
• Work closely with architecture, engineering, development, data science, DevOps, AI, privacy, legal, compliance, and business teams.
• Evaluate AI use cases to ensure compliance prior to production deployment.
• Choose, implement, and automate enterprise security technologies and monitoring capabilities.
• Over 7 years of progressive experience in designing and securing on-premises, cloud, and hybrid enterprise architectures.
• Strong grasp of secure system design principles.
• Extensive knowledge in cryptography, secure data storage, secure communications, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning security, including LLMs, generative AI, agentic AI, prompt flows, data pipelines, model integrations, and enterprise AI platforms.
• Proven experience in defining and implementing AI security guardrails and governance frameworks.
• Understanding of identity and access controls, least-privilege principles, data classification, logging, monitoring, red teaming, human-in-the-loop controls, secure agent orchestration, runtime monitoring, and responsible AI governance.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or comparable scripting and automation technologies.
• Willingness to travel globally approximately 15% to 20% of the time, including overnight travel.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred.
• CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or cloud security certifications are advantageous.
