Principal Biostatistician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, analysis, and interpretation of clinical studies as the lead.

• Partner with the sponsor, project manager, clinical team, data managers, medical writers, statistical programmers, and other stakeholders.

• Supervise the creation, evaluation, maintenance, and management of all contracted statistical outputs and associated activities.

• Serve as the study lead for various studies, clinical programs, and/or large and complex studies.

• Offer insights on issues or enhancements to initially proposed designs.

• Draft summaries of findings and results for interim analyses or final reports.

• Provide guidance and support to junior statisticians.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree (or higher) in biostatistics, statistics, mathematics, or other related fields.

• Fundamental understanding and application of biostatistics within clinical trials.

• Strong prior experience working in a Contract Research Organization.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Proficient presentation skills.

• Familiarity with the MS Office Suite.

• Proficiency in one or more statistical programming languages (SAS preferred).

• Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.

• Solid understanding of the ICH and regulatory environment.

• Knowledge of advanced statistical methods (e.g., survival analysis, logistic regression, and mixed models).

• Fluency in English.
