This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and create scalable RESTful API endpoints for the AI platform.
• Develop Python/Java SDKs that offer intuitive interfaces for teams to engage with the AI platform.
• Construct reliable backend services using Python (FastAPI, Django, or Flask) to manage agent lifecycle processes, deployment, and monitoring.
• Create secure authentication and authorization systems that accommodate multi-tenant architecture.
• Comprehend the workings of an agentic solution and establish efficient data access layers and database schemas that empower AI agents to interact with various internal data sources.
• Implement asynchronous task processing systems to manage long-running AI agent operations.
• Facilitate technical discussions, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to shaping the technical vision for the AI platform roadmap.
• Ensure adherence to security, privacy, and regulatory standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Offer technical guidance on backend architecture, Python development, and best practices in SDK design.
• Fulfill all responsibilities as outlined in the annual performance review and/or goal setting.
• Complete all special projects and additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 12+ years of backend development experience, with over 5 years focused on building scalable Python applications and APIs.
• Experience in developing large-scale distributed systems and microservices.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python; Java skills are a plus.
• Expert-level knowledge of Python and modern frameworks (FastAPI, Django REST Framework, Flask).
• Significant experience with database technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks (SQLAlchemy, Django ORM).
• Practical experience with agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar.
• Proven track record in developing and maintaining SDKs or client libraries for internal or external use.
• Extensive experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins), and automated testing.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
