Principal Architect – SAP S/4 HANA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the architectural components of the SAP S/4 HANA migration initiative from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud.

• Evaluate project requirements and create detailed system specifications for the migration, ensuring congruence with SAP S/4 HANA, cloud architecture, and system integration.

• Offer expertise in SAP S/4 HANA modules, concentrating on configuration, functionality, technical support, and implementation.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to design, test, and document effective, scalable, and resilient deployment scenarios for SAP S/4 HANA in the cloud.

• Script and deploy dependable automation tools to effectively test SAP S/4 HANA workloads on the chosen cloud platform.

• Collaborate closely with cloud development teams to implement scheduled maintenance updates and evaluate SAP workloads on the cloud infrastructure.

• Examine and resolve intricate customer scenarios associated with SAP S/4 HANA migration to the cloud.

• Offer support and direction to customer-facing staff in advocating for SAP S/4 HANA workload scenarios on cloud infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical discipline, along with 10-15 years of experience in SAP architecture, particularly with SAP S/4 HANA.

• Extensive experience within SAP, showcasing knowledge of configuration, functionality, technical support, and implementation.

• Over 4 years of experience in migrating SAP from on-premises to cloud environments.

• Demonstrated expertise in SAP BASIS architecture with a minimum of 10 years of experience.

• Proficient in SAP HA/DR design and operational best practices.

• More than 6 years of experience and technical know-how in operating systems (Windows, Linux - SLES or RHEL, UNIX), focusing on performance analysis, debugging, and HA/DR technologies.

• Strong relational database management system (RDBMS) expertise, including SAP HANA and additional databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, DB2, MaxDB).

• Familiarity with hypervisor/cloud/networking technologies, along with proficiency in designing, deploying, and troubleshooting solutions based on cloud platforms.

• English proficiency at B2+ level is required.
