Principal Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete architecture across services, data, integrations, and cloud.

• Influence architectural choices that affect business outcomes (revenue, cost, risk).

• Establish and refine the roadmap for the target architecture.

• Lead the security architecture initiatives, ensuring data protection and compliance with HIPAA.

• Integrate secure-by-design principles and manage the platform's risk posture.

• Design scalable healthcare data workflows (ingestion → validation → transformation → submission).

• Manage EDI-based integrations (837, 835, 999, 277CA) and connectivity with external systems.

• Guarantee data integrity, auditability, and the ability to process high volumes at scale.

• Influence system-wide decisions regarding scalability, performance, and reliability.

• Define observability metrics, SLAs/SLOs, and standards for operational excellence.

• Be accountable for architectural outcomes that ensure production stability.

• Serve as the primary technical leader across various teams.

• Implement architecture governance, conduct reviews, and set engineering standards.

• Mentor engineers to enhance their system-level thinking.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in engineering with substantial architectural leadership.

• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, microservices, and distributed systems.

• Demonstrated experience with enterprise-level, high-availability platforms (AWS).

• Comprehensive understanding of data systems, integrations, and SaaS architectures.

• Capacity to balance rapid execution, scalability, and long-term sustainability.
