This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Exhibit genuine curiosity to understand objectives, therapy areas, and the broader context, from product lifecycle strategy to client account dynamics.
• Establish a solid understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, the asset development lifecycle, and the wider life sciences environment.
• Cultivate expertise in Blue Matter’s research methodologies and learn to effectively communicate the strengths, trade-offs, and applications of each.
• Take ownership of your responsibilities by consistently delivering timely work across all projects you engage with.
• Contribute to our culture through internal initiatives, team-building activities, and collaboration with peers.
• Assist in comprehensive project execution for both qualitative and quantitative (survey-based) research studies.
• Engage in project discussions through active listening, meticulous note-taking, background research, and idea sharing.
• Aid in the creation of research materials, including discussion guides, surveys, status updates, and analysis plans.
• Implement rigorous quality control, overseeing data processing tasks such as data entry and verification with diligence and accuracy.
• Collaborate with the research team in report development to create report templates and distill findings into actionable insights.
• Manage timelines among internal teams, external vendors, and clients to ensure projects remain on schedule.
• Foster post-meeting momentum by proactively identifying and tracking action items.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant internship/work experience is a plus.
• Strong academic performance and a demonstrated interest in healthcare, life sciences, business, behavioral science, or a related discipline.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Slack, Zoom, and Google Drive.
• Basic knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical reasoning skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capacity to condense and summarize extensive information into clear takeaways.
• Willingness to embrace and innovate with AI in daily work.
