Premium Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Perform virtual audits on selected commercial lines policies by analyzing the customer's business operations, which includes examining, verifying, and documenting relevant classification-related data from financial records.

• Ensure the quality of the audit through accurate risk classification and identification of exposure bases.

• Utilize a laptop to record audit details as provided by the Premium Audit Service Representative and to submit completed audits promptly.

• Discuss any issues and concerns with insured parties to ensure clarity regarding premium changes and to foster strong customer relationships.

• Provide both external customers (such as agents and insured individuals) and internal teams (including underwriting, claims, and accounting) with information to enhance their understanding of audit-related topics, including audit statements, procedures, and worksheets.

• Stay updated on changes and current information related to premium auditing by engaging with industry experts and reviewing relevant literature.

• Demonstrate excellent time management abilities and work effectively from a home office with minimal direct supervision.

• Conduct business professionally to safeguard and uphold the corporate assets of Builders Mutual.

• Participate in special projects and assignments as needed, in addition to regular responsibilities.

• Share knowledge and experiences with less experienced virtual premium auditors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field with 1-3 years of industry experience or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

• Proficient in computer skills (MS Office).

• Strong customer service capabilities.

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

• Highly effective time management skills.

• Outstanding organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Proven ability to work independently.
