This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Review policyholders’ financial and accounting records to ensure precise calculations of earned premiums for moderately complex risks.

• Strategically plan, organize, and oversee assigned tasks and territory.

• Deliver prompt and accurate service to insured clients, agents, and internal business associates throughout the audit process.

• Offer insights and feedback to enhance communication and customer satisfaction.

• Verify that audited exposures are calculated accurately.

• Address disputes and inquiries that arise during the auditing process.

• Support the training of new auditors.

• Provide technical guidance to assist clients in resolving issues or improving their operations.

• Cultivate and sustain positive relationships with customers.

• Anticipate customer requirements and suggest modifications based on emerging trends.

• Escalate technical challenges within the function or department.

• Contribute feedback to enhance processes, customer service, or product offerings.

• Engage in short-term projects with defined scopes.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 or more years of experience in the Casualty Premium Audit field, OR a high school diploma or equivalent with 7 or more years of experience in the Casualty Premium Audit field, OR completion of a Zurich-approved Apprenticeship Program including an Associate Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Casualty Premium Audit field.

• Proficient in laptop computer auditing and Microsoft Office applications.

• Familiarity with NCCI Workers Compensation and ISO General Liability regulations, manuals, and industry standards.

• APA or CPCU designation preferred.

• Experience in large, multi-state premium audits is preferred.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities are preferred.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are preferred.

• Must have the ability to work in the United States; employment sponsorship is not available.
