This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Perform in-depth public record due diligence investigations on individuals for employment verification.
• Validate identities and search for aliases using various third-party resources.
• Identify, evaluate, and succinctly summarize intricate legal documents such as liens, judgments, bankruptcies, criminal records, complaints, and other recorded materials.
• Research social media profiles, negative news, and overall online presence.
• Conduct verifications of employment, education, and professional licenses through various methods, including third-party verification services and direct communication via phone, email, and/or fax.
• Collaborate with courts, government agencies, or vendors as necessary.
• Generate comprehensive, well-articulated reports for clients based on investigative findings.
• Deliver accurate and timely reporting.
• Liaise with the Customer Success team to ensure that deliverables and timelines are realistic.
• Execute other assigned responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Political Science, International Studies, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of FCRA and State Rules and Regulations.
• Experience in public record investigations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Slack).
• Tech-savvy with strong computer skills.
• Excellent communication abilities (both written and verbal).
• Experience handling confidential and sensitive information (PII).
• Familiarity with due diligence databases (Westlaw, CLEAR, TLO).
• Bilingual skills are preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong organizational, planning, and project management capabilities.
• Ability to draft reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
• Capacity to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from various stakeholders.
• Problem-solving skills and adaptability.
