This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare for the audit by identifying the essential information and types of records required.
• Draft and send letters to request necessary information.
• Communicate with insured individuals through phone, email, and mail.
• Analyze data to ascertain accurate classifications for business activities and compose a clear description of operations.
• Compile a comprehensive audit document, explain the findings to the insured, and relay the results to the review team.
• Enter progress notes, complete audits, and submit them for review.
• Previous experience in phone auditing is required.
• Background in bookkeeping, accounting, or commercial insurance is essential.
• Capability to read, analyze, and interpret financial documents.
• General proficiency in PC use, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with Visual Audit is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills with customers and team members are necessary.
