• Develop, construct, and enhance intricate pricing models using SQL and Looker to automate and improve the precision of client savings projections.
• Convert business requirements from stakeholders into technical specifications for the development and validation of our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) in collaboration with the Data Analytics and Engineering teams.
• Collaborate directly with Data and Engineering teams to ensure that pricing logic is in alignment with the broader company data architecture and product roadmaps.
• Aid in the advancement of the Pricing Analytics codebase, adhering to best development practices, strict audit protocols, and code reviews to guarantee "client-ready" accuracy across all automated tools.
• Sustain a transparent project roadmap for enhancements to pricing tools and generate comprehensive technical documentation for all pipelines and internal logic.
• Offer "Tier 3" technical support to the Submission Pod, assisting with highly complex ad-hoc analyses or during peak volume times to maintain queue stability.
• Conduct detailed analyses and investigations into large datasets, delivering clear insights based on findings.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners via email, Slack, phone, video calls, and Jira.
• Acquire a thorough understanding of reporting needs, collaborating cross-functionally to scope projects and develop self-service BI reporting and automation as appropriate.
• Continually analyze and assess existing reporting processes to identify inefficiencies or gaps, proactively implementing innovative solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
• 3-5 years of experience in a Data Analytics or Pricing-oriented role.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent).
• Advanced skills in SQL (complex joins, CTEs, optimization) and experience with Looker (LookML), Tableau, or comparable BI tools.
• Familiarity with GitHub/Version Control and project management software (e.g., Jira) is highly desirable.
• Experience in PBM or Healthcare is a significant advantage, particularly concerning pharmacy claims data.
• Ability to transform a "messy" business requirement from a Sales Lead into a clear, repeatable technical specification.
• Highly self-motivated, adaptable, and willing to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
• Takes pride in the accuracy of formulas and the cleanliness of code.
• Capable of facilitating in-depth technical discussions with Engineers while effectively conveying the "why" to non-technical stakeholders.
