This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Offers compassionate, empathetic, and engaging phone support for individuals seeking a genuine human connection to aid in their recovery journey.
• Responds to callers using person-centered language and assertive communication techniques.
• Engages with the caller’s concerns through mutual understanding and fosters a sense of hope.
• Supports individuals reaching out due to feelings of loneliness, isolation, fear, lack of support, and/or insufficient resources.
• Proven experience as a Peer/Recovery Support Specialist.
• Personal lived experience in recovery.
• Minimum of one year of volunteer or work experience in an office setting is required.
• Completion of Peer/Recovery Support Specialist Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• GED or High School Diploma is required.
