This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Demonstrates proficiency in group facilitation on substance use disorder (SUD) topics, utilizing both standardized and non-standardized curricula.
• Comfortable co-facilitating multidisciplinary groups, including shared follow-up appointments.
• Open to a flexible schedule to accommodate evening and weekend group sessions.
• Deliver evidence-based SUD services through the facilitation of psychoeducational, skills-development, cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal process, and support-oriented groups.
• Proficient in co-facilitating groups alongside other recovery coaches, counselors, and medical professionals.
• Capable of managing crisis interventions remotely.
• Prepare all necessary documentation in compliance with organizational and state standards, ensuring clarity, thoroughness, and timeliness.
• Comfortable providing treatment to both adults and adolescents.
• Engage in meetings, supervision, and clinical audits.
• Maintain confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part II.
• Exhibit adaptability and flexibility without compromising clinical effectiveness.
• Committed to applying the Harm Reduction philosophy in all facets of clinical practice.
• Efficiently manage member communications via chat, email, and phone in alignment with the company's mission and values.
• Respond promptly to member chats and messages.
• Contribute to Behavioral Health services by offering support groups and maintaining relevant documentation.
• Provide tailored resources to members.
• Empowered to work independently, with an ongoing commitment to learning, while adhering to meeting schedules and prioritizing tasks accordingly.
• Complete tasks related to referrals, resources, and discharges.
• Exhibit empathy, compassion, and respect towards clients in all interactions.
• Go the extra mile to ensure exceptional member experiences by resolving inquiries and prioritizing members’ needs.
• Enhance overall member satisfaction by meeting and exceeding support metrics and service levels.
• Acknowledge that new states may have different requirements (e.g., internal drug testing, fingerprinting) that we strive to meet while being considerate of our workforce and mission surrounding addiction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Active Peer Recovery Certification is REQUIRED.
• Must possess experience in facilitating support groups.
• Minimum of 1 year of peer recovery experience.
• Preferably has experience in customer service environments.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records, HIPAA, and 42 CFR Part II.
• Knowledge of addiction recovery processes.
• Strong commitment to service excellence.
• Capable of addressing challenging support cases, with enjoyment in resolving new issues.
• Ability to manage stress and pressure effectively, focusing on key priorities while maintaining a positive, calm demeanor in a start-up atmosphere.
• Comfortable seeking support, assistance, and guidance as necessary.
• Experience in case management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Energized by collaboration with others.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Aptitude for problem-solving.
• Must disclose if currently running a private practice or starting one during employment; client base for private clients must not be in the SUD field. Written permission from a Supervisor will be required for outside private practice work where you serve as a facilitator or co-facilitator.
