PD Tools Migration Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Install and implement IBM PD tools in accordance with best practices and client specifications.

• Assist with migration processes that include the conversion and integration of IBM and ISV problem-determination tools.

• Conduct training sessions, workshops, and technical presentations for both customers and internal teams.

• Execute problem determination and resolution for IBM products within customer environments.

• Collaborate across DB2, CICS, and IMS environments during installation, deployment, and migration support.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of z/OS and comprehensive familiarity with IBM PD tools and their components.

• Practical experience with Non-IBM / ISV tools that are being migrated or replaced, including BMC FileAid, CA Broadcom File Master / CA File Master Plus, CA Broadcom PDSMAN, and Macro4 InSync.

• Understanding of migration and conversion processes to IBM PD tooling such as IBM File Manager and IBM Hourglass.

• Proficient in ISPF and IDz.

• Programming abilities in COBOL, PL/I, Assembler, and C/C++.

• Experience with CICS, DB2, and IMS application programming and administration.

• Capability to create or modify REXX scripts to facilitate migration and automation needs.
