Payment Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish and document reporting requirements.

• Create feature roadmaps and communication strategies to ensure alignment of delivery with business objectives.

• Identify deficiencies in portfolio-level data collection and suggest new variables to address these gaps.

• Conduct exploratory data analysis to evaluate feasibility and uncover opportunities for additional features.

• Develop practical interim solutions to fulfill reporting needs while permanent infrastructure is in progress.

• Proactively recommend alternatives when specified requirements cannot be met.

• Design and deliver proof-of-concept solutions that are prepared for user acceptance testing.

• Oversee the maintenance and ongoing enhancement of Power BI reports.

• Collaborate with Data Engineers to extract and integrate raw data from upstream sources.

• Lead initiatives to improve data quality across the portfolio, including assisting portfolio companies with payments data quality assurance.

• Coordinate with PSPs to ensure consistency in definitions and calculation methodologies between their reporting and internal figures.

• Analyze, structure, and document raw datasets for downstream utilization.

• Design and construct scalable data pipelines and systems adhering to a medallion architecture.

• Contribute to making data accessible for AI-driven solutions, including exposure via MCP servers and related tools.

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive company-wide data glossary to support governance and consistency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in financial data analysis within an international or complex setting.

• Strong experience with NetSuite ERP, particularly in data extraction and reporting.

• Practical experience with Python (Pandas, PySpark) and Power BI (DAX, data modeling).

• Proficient in SQL and data modeling.

• Experience in a DevOps or Agile environment.

• Fluent in English.
