This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Lead the migration projects.
• Conduct technical project scoping in collaboration with the firm (including source software, data volume, and specific business requirements).
• Governance: Facilitate coordination among internal stakeholders (PSS, AE, PRM, Partners) and external parties (accounting firms, firm IT, Ambassadors).
• Deadlines: Ensure data cutover is completed within the designated 5-day period.
• Hypercare: Provide post-migration support to the client to ensure seamless adoption.
• Technical expertise and industrialization.
• Quality audit: Detect and rectify data discrepancies upstream to reduce production failures.
• Serve as the technical point of contact (internally at Pennylane): Address firms' technical inquiries (such as implementing SSO, utilizing APIs, etc.).
• Innovation (internally at Pennylane): Create tools, scripts (using Python/SQL), or documentation to automate repetitive tasks within the team.
• Advisory and guidance.
• Scope management: Maintain project scopes and suggest alternatives for complex scenarios.
• Teaching: Clarify technical issues in straightforward terms for accounting professionals to comprehend.
• Continuous improvement (internally at Pennylane): Share field feedback with product teams to shape the technical roadmap.
• Project Management: Strong methodological approach, excellent prioritization capabilities, and crisis management skills.
• Technical: Proficient in SQL, foundational knowledge of Python, and an understanding of APIs and SaaS architectures (essential for this position).
• Domain knowledge: Familiarity with accounting data flows (FEC — French accounting export, VAT, trial balances) to anticipate the needs of firms (preferred).
• Emotional intelligence: Ability to maintain diplomacy and effectiveness under pressure.
• Analytical mindset: A natural problem-solver who looks for the root causes of issues.
• Cross-functional communication: Ability to align stakeholders with differing interests (Sales vs Operations).
