Part-time Online PE & Health Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Teach dynamic Physical Education and Health in live virtual classrooms for students in Years 9-12.

• Implement Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE, and NCEA Levels 2-3 curricula.

• Operate fully remotely from any location in New Zealand while fostering a supportive and connected learning community.

• Conduct motivating live online Health and PE lessons.

• Create tailored learning experiences for each student.

• Establish trust-based relationships with students within a virtual context.

• Collaborate with a team of highly skilled and innovative educators.

• Assist student advancement through personalized instruction.

• Offer valuable formative assessments, alongside quality feedback, feed-forward, and summative evaluations that align with curriculum objectives.

• Positively contribute to the development and effectiveness of the curriculum team.

• Cultivate meaningful partnerships with parents and caregivers to enhance student learning.

⛳️ Requirements

• NZ Teaching Registration.

• Teaching qualification and subject matter expertise.

• Strong understanding of the NCEA curriculum for Levels 2-3.

• Exceptional communication abilities and proficiency with digital technology.

• Desirable: Experience in teaching IGCSE.

• Desirable: Experience in online or blended learning environments.

• Desirable: Familiarity with educational technology and AI platforms.
