Freelance Portuguese Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Design, prepare, and deliver 45-minute online Portuguese lessons tailored for corporate clients

• Provide 1:1 private lessons that integrate language instruction with personalized coaching

• Perform needs assessments and evaluate students’ language proficiency

• Develop customized learning pathways

• Monitor student progress during lessons

• Establish clear educational objectives

• Instruct on presentation techniques, negotiation skills, business email etiquette, meeting management, and cross-cultural communication

⛳️ Requirements

• C2 proficiency in Portuguese

• Valid teaching certification such as TEFL/CELTA or equivalent university qualifications

• Experience in online teaching and offering 1:1 coaching or individualized learning support

• B1 level or higher in English

• Ability to teach presentation skills, negotiation techniques, business email etiquette, meeting management, and cross-cultural communication

• Exceptional communication abilities to effectively engage and instruct students

• High-speed internet connection

• Modern laptop or desktop computer equipped with a microphone and camera

• Must adhere to local freelance/contractor regulations
