This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wyoming.
• Oversee and provide clinical supervision for up to 8 full-time NP/PA providers offering mobile and telemedicine pain management services.
• Supervise telemedicine providers to maintain high standards of care, ensure appropriate prescribing practices, and adhere to state and federal regulations.
• Evaluate patient documentation and offer constructive feedback to uphold clinical quality and regulatory compliance.
• Advise providers on evidence-based pain management protocols, which include medication management, non-opioid therapies, and suitable specialty referrals.
• Assist in creating personalized treatment plans for geriatric and medically complex patients across SNF, ALF, and home care environments.
• Be accessible for provider consultations, case reviews, and clinical guidance as required.
• Attend one monthly provider meeting.
• Ensure that documentation, telehealth workflows, and prescribing practices align with Medicare, DEA, and Wyoming state regulations.
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance quality improvement initiatives and the development of pain and palliative care services.
• Active MD or DO license in Wyoming.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Management, Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Palliative Care, or a related specialty.
• Active DEA registration in good standing.
• Medicare-enrolled provider.
• Preferred experience supervising NPs/PAs and/or telemedicine providers.
• Preferred experience working with geriatric, chronic pain, palliative, or post-acute care populations.
• Strong knowledge of safe opioid prescribing and multidisciplinary pain management strategies.
• No in-person requirements.
• No nights or weekends.
• Ongoing education opportunities for providers.
