OT Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute integration strategies for security solutions while assisting technical teams during implementation.

• Aid in network segmentation and enhance system hardening initiatives.

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing focused on operational technology (OT).

• Execute threat and risk assessments, documenting and continually refining security protocols.

• Collaborate effectively with IT, engineering, and production departments.

• Assist in designing a security framework for renewable energy facilities.

• Engage in discussions with customers and suppliers regarding security issues throughout all project stages.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Relevant professional experience in operational technology (OT) or industrial control systems (ICS) security.

• Strong understanding of standard communication and network protocols, along with the functionalities and processes of contemporary IT architectures.

• Solid knowledge of security technologies and methodologies.

• Familiarity with relevant standards, including IEC 62443.

• Experience in developing threat models and conducting risk assessments.

• Proficiency with security tools such as firewalls, SIEM, and IDS/IPS.

• A hands-on approach paired with a structured working style.

• A conceptual, analytical, and detail-oriented working style.

• Goal-driven and capable of working independently.

• Fluent proficiency in English is essential.
