📋 Description

• Take ownership of SeatGeek's organic social media channels from start to finish — encompassing strategy, content creation, scheduling, and publishing on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, X, and any new platforms that emerge.

• Formulate and implement a unified organic social strategy that aligns with both brand and business objectives — outlining channel-specific tactics, content pillars, posting frequency, and audience growth strategies that build momentum over time.

• Conceptualize and create culturally relevant, platform-specific content that resonates with live events, sports, concerts, and entertainment moments — transforming current cultural happenings into engaging content that encourages shares and fosters brand loyalty.

• Stay ahead of trends, discussions, and activities in real-time — spotting opportunities for timely reactive content, cultural insights, and community interaction that keep SeatGeek active in relevant conversations.

• Capture, edit, and produce short-form video content using self-recorded footage, user-generated content (UGC), or supplied materials — possessing a keen sense for storytelling, pacing, hooks, and platform-specific formats that grab attention.

• Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics — including reach, engagement, follower growth, and share of voice — and leverage these insights to continually refine content strategy while demonstrating the channel's contribution to business success.

• Manage community engagement — responding to comments, direct messages, and mentions with a voice that is personable, on-brand, and genuinely enjoyable; transforming fans into advocates and everyday interactions into memorable brand moments.

• Collaborate across departments with marketing, partnerships, PR, and creative teams to support campaigns, product launches, and key events — ensuring consistency and authenticity in the organic social voice.

• Develop and oversee the content calendar — balancing planned campaigns, evergreen content, and real-time opportunities across various platforms without compromising any aspect.

• Act as the internal authority and advocate for organic social — sharing platform insights, algorithm updates, and recommendations for emerging formats with the broader team and assisting in educating stakeholders on effective strategies.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in organic social media and content strategy, preferably within an e-commerce brand; experience in sports, live events, or ticketing is highly advantageous.

• A resourceful and proactive work ethic. Able to work independently, act swiftly, and juggle multiple responsibilities — you don’t wait for ideal conditions to produce outstanding content.

• Exceptional organizational skills, with experience managing a content calendar across various platforms and campaigns simultaneously, ensuring that real-time moments are not overlooked.

• Deep understanding of internet culture — you are always aware of the latest trends, TikTok sounds, or viral memes before they peak, and you can translate that into authentic, engaging content.

• A genuine enthusiasm for live entertainment and sports. You recognize the cultural significance of events like the NBA playoffs just as much as you know the setlist for Ariana Grande's tour — and you instinctively know how to engage during these moments.

• A data-driven mindset. You advocate for the value of organic social, are fluent in platform analytics, and can effectively report on what’s working, what’s not, and how the channel contributes to business outcomes and revenue.

• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills. A natural collaborator who excels in teamwork — able to clearly convey social strategy to stakeholders at various levels.

• Experience working with creative teams and executing within brand guidelines — while also knowing how to creatively push boundaries in ways that feel fresh and platform-appropriate.

• Extensive knowledge of social search and AI search optimization — you understand how content is discovered through in-platform searches on TikTok and Instagram and are proactive in building content strategies that excel in emerging AI discovery landscapes.

• Practical content creation experience, including filming and editing short-form videos (using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar); comfortable taking on roles as producer, director, and occasionally as talent.

• Keen editorial instincts and a unique writing voice — able to adjust tone for different platforms and craft captions that captivate, whether through a single impactful line or a hook that invites further engagement.

• A strong creative vision. You can conceptualize and produce content independently, create briefs that genuinely inspire a creative team, and provide feedback that is specific, actionable, and enhances the work — rather than just changing it.

• A natural talent for community building with a knack for engaging audiences in comments, knowing when to respond, amplify, or escalate, and transforming daily interactions into brand experiences.
