OpenStack Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Act as a customer advocate by crafting appropriate solutions and ensuring their innovative and dependable implementation and support.

• Facilitate successful discovery, analysis, and design workshops for small to medium-sized teams comprised of both technical and non-technical individuals, which help shape and inspire customer use cases and architectural design choices.

• Define project scopes and assist customers through successful pilot and production rollouts.

• Design, develop, and deliver materials that empower the wider Red Hat organization to effectively sell, service, and support our cloud and infrastructure solutions on a large scale.

• Contribute to the creation of repeatable methodologies and tools aimed at enhancing Red Hat's service capabilities, fostering ongoing customer engagements, and minimizing delivery risks.

• Position yourself as a subject matter expert by producing outstanding whitepapers and webinars, and by presenting innovative ideas at prominent industry conferences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience in a consulting role.

• Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies at a delivery level.

• Experience with the implementation of virtualization technologies in enterprise environments and large-scale deployments.

• Familiarity with one or more Red Hat infrastructure solutions, such as Red Hat OpenStack and OpenShift.

• Strong customer-facing skills; capable of presenting to customers and facilitating customer interactions.

• Knowledge of the open source community.

• Exceptional problem-solving, project management, and planning abilities.

• Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) certification is advantageous.

• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification, or the willingness to obtain it within a few weeks of starting, is a plus.

• Willingness to travel to customer sites within France and occasionally across the EMEA region.

• Proficiency in both English and French.
