Online Media Studies Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Deliver captivating Media Studies instruction through live virtual classrooms for students in Years 9-12, encompassing Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE, and NCEA Levels 2-3 curriculum.

• Provide inspiring live online Media Studies lessons on a five-day-a-week basis.

• Create tailored learning experiences for individual students.

• Foster trust-based relationships with students in a digital setting.

• Collaborate with a team of highly skilled and innovative educators.

• Enhance student development through differentiated instructional methods.

• Offer significant formative assessments, including quality feedback, feed-forward, and summative evaluation that aligns with curriculum objectives.

• Positively contribute to the efficacy and advancement of the curriculum team.

• Establish authentic partnerships with parents and caregivers to facilitate learning support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Essential: NZ Teaching Registration.

• Qualification in Mathematics teaching with subject matter expertise.

• Strong understanding of the NCEA curriculum (Levels 2-3).

• Exceptional communication skills and proficiency with digital technology.

• Desirable: Experience in teaching IGCSE.

• Experience with online or blended learning environments.

• Familiarity with educational technology tools.
