Onboarding Coordinator – ABA Therapy, US Healthcare

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Facilitating onboarding meetings via Zoom or Teams with newly hired therapists.

• Assisting candidates throughout each phase of the onboarding process and pinpointing any outstanding tasks.

• Maintaining consistent follow-up to ensure candidates are advancing through their onboarding steps promptly.

• Overseeing candidate statuses on a shared board and making certain no one is delayed at any stage for too long.

• Accurately completing and tracking tasks within the company's systems (including ClickUp).

• Identifying candidates who are not engaging or progressing and adhering to the necessary protocols.

• Collaborating with the staffing team when candidates reach the placement phase of onboarding.

• Managing approximately 30 onboarding candidates monthly per state, with team assistance during peak periods.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in an onboarding, recruitment coordination, or HR administrative role.

• Familiarity with ClickUp, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms is advantageous.

• Knowledge of the ABA therapy sector or a background in healthcare, disability, or mental health services is beneficial.

• Strong organizational skills and a task-oriented work approach — an enjoyment for checking off completed tasks is essential.

• Exceptional follow-up and communication abilities — a significant part of this role involves keeping candidates engaged and moving forward.

• Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment managing multiple candidates at different stages simultaneously.

• Self-motivated and capable of recognizing tasks that need to be accomplished without waiting for direction.
