Occupational Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Facilitate occupational therapy sessions and assessments for a varied pediatric demographic.

• Identify and create treatment plans that cater to developmental needs, encompassing fine motor skills, gross motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living (ADLs).

• Instruct and empower caregivers on adaptive methods, home programs, and the utilization of therapeutic tools to promote continuity and long-term success.

• Track progress, modify interventions, and ensure safe, effective care within the home setting.

• Complete all documentation in line with Expressable’s standards for quality and timing.

• Meet all necessary training, licensing, credentialing requirements, and internal communication obligations promptly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT, OTD, or equivalent)

• Active and unrestricted OT license in your state of residence

• Capability to obtain licensure in the states where Expressable is hiring

• Reliable internet access and a suitable private workspace

• At least 2 years of clinical experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist

• Experience with pediatric populations, including assessments and interventions in developmental domains (fine motor, gross motor, sensory, ADLs)

• Proficiency in technology and the ability to independently adapt to new digital tools

• Experience working with insurance-based populations, including Medicaid
