This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct independent audits of clinical documentation to ensure alignment with billed services in a production setting.
• Utilize clinical and industry standards, payer policies, and comprehensive knowledge to support the medical necessity of rendered services.
• Build relationships with healthcare providers and insurance plans to verify compliance with policies, guidelines, and the continuity of care.
• Stay updated on technological advancements, regulatory changes, and medical practices through continuous training and self-directed research, and share insights with colleagues as appropriate.
• Propose ideas for process enhancements and communicate them with the team for educational purposes.
• A valid RN or LPN professional license in good standing.
• A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with effective organizational abilities.
