Network Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee enterprise network security measures.

• Configure and manage firewalls including Fortinet, SonicWall, and Palo Alto.

• Establish and uphold VPNs, IPS/IDS, web filtering, NAT, ACLs, and segmentation policies.

• Monitor security incidents utilizing SIEM, XDR, and SOC monitoring systems.

• Conduct investigations into security breaches, carry out threat assessments, and assist with incident response efforts.

• Aid in cloud security projects across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Over 3 years of experience in the field of network security.

• Profound knowledge of next-generation firewalls, SIEM systems, and cloud security protocols.

• Practical experience with Fortinet, SonicWall, Palo Alto Networks, SIEM tools, SASE, SD-WAN, and endpoint security.

• Familiarity with SOC operations, threat hunting, log correlation, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
