Network Engineer – Cloud Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Delivering network operations and support for Varian’s cloud-based solutions

• Setting up and maintaining backbone connections via ExpressRoute

• Collaborating to swiftly resolve any network-related outages

• Assisting in the successful execution of various projects

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in computer science or a related engineering or technical field is preferred

• 5-7 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education

• Proven experience in supporting and managing networks within an enterprise cloud computing setting

• Comprehensive knowledge of network protocols (such as TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, ARP)

• Expertise in Routing and Switching

• Practical experience with Palo Alto Network Firewalls

• Preferred experience with Microsoft ExpressRoute

• Experience with business-critical, highly available, and scalable infrastructure and applications
