.Net Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain ASP.NET web applications featuring a microservice architecture.

• Collaborate with colleagues and other departments as part of a diverse agile team, including Product, Delivery, UX/UI, DevOps, Architecture, Infrastructure, and QA.

• Assist in the design of software architecture through research initiatives and technical explorations.

• Document, update, and enhance engineering decision logs along with architecture and technical knowledge repositories.

• Engage in design evaluations, peer code assessments, sprint reviews with code demonstrations, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

• Aid in estimating and deconstructing components into individual tasks, along with project and release planning, and deployment processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Solid understanding of core principles including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, REST/web services, software architecture, and coding best practices.

• Proven experience with Visual Studio / VS Code, C#, .Net Framework or Core, ASP.NET/Core, SQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.

• Experience with React and GraphQL.

• Familiarity with Azure cloud services, including App Service, App Functions, Azure Managed SQL, Azure Redis Cache, and Azure Blob Storage.

• Experience with SQL Server, Atlas MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.

• Proficient in xUnit, Selenium, and accessibility testing for web applications.

• Working knowledge of observability platforms such as Azure Application Insights or DataDog.

• Familiarity with tools such as NuGet, GIT, Swagger, OpenAPI, and Terraform.
