Nepali Language Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise and prompt interpretation services in real-time between Nepali and English during calls or meetings.

• Uphold confidentiality and professionalism while interpreting sensitive material.

• Demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity to facilitate respectful communication.

• Stay updated on relevant terminology to improve the quality of interpretations.

• Comply with ethical standards and best practices for interpreters in all interactions.

• Engage in continuous training and professional development to sharpen skills and maintain current knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in both Nepali and English, with an excellent command of both written and spoken forms.

• Prior experience in interpretation or a related field is preferred.

• Strong listening and communication abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

• Cultural competence and the ability to engage with diverse client backgrounds.

• Ability to remain composed and professional in challenging situations.

• High ethical standards and a commitment to preserving confidentiality.

• Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
