Mortgage Credit Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the financial statements and credit information of each borrower to ascertain their creditworthiness.

• Prepare documentation for clients who are in the process of applying for a mortgage loan and assist them in gathering all required documents and credit information to create a comprehensive and viable loan application for lenders.

• Review mortgage disclosures to ensure compliance with all federal and state lending regulations.

• Collaborate with real estate agents to ensure they are informed about the requirements for clients to successfully apply for a mortgage loan.

• Keep accurate and up-to-date records for each client throughout the lending process while ensuring that sensitive information is managed with the highest level of care.

• Provide progress reports and updated financial information to the mortgage team to facilitate a successful closing.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the mortgage or financial services sector, particularly in credit analysis or underwriting.

• Expertise in mortgage software and financial analysis tools.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including skills in financial modeling and data analysis.

• Familiarity with credit reporting systems and related tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate the creditworthiness of borrowers and identify potential risks.

• Capability to interpret complex financial statements, credit reports, and other financial data.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and clients effectively.

• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial evaluations and documentation.

• Required equipment includes a self-provided USB headset with noise cancellation features.

• A working webcam.

• A computer with a minimum of a 1.5 GHz processor and at least 8GB of RAM.

• Main internet service speed of at least 50 Mbps cable connection.

• Backup internet service speed of at least 25 Mbps.
