Mobile Application Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms.

• Play a key role in transitioning existing native mobile applications to a cross-platform Flutter framework.

• Design, develop, and sustain features for Android applications utilizing Kotlin and Java.

• Design, develop, and sustain features for iOS applications using Swift.

• Collaborate with the team to facilitate the migration of existing native mobile applications to Flutter.

• Aid in defining the mobile architecture, shared component strategies, and integration patterns for Flutter applications.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and testable code in accordance with established engineering standards.

• Work together with product managers, designers, QA, DevOps, and backend engineers to specify and implement new features.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the mobile stack, including performance bottlenecks, crashes, and platform-specific inconsistencies.

• Support and enhance current mobile applications through refactoring and modernization initiatives.

• Implement unit and integration tests to bolster reliability.

• Collaborate with QA to ensure high-quality releases across various platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10+ years of professional experience in software development.

• 3–5+ years of experience in developing Android applications using Kotlin.

• 2+ years of experience in developing iOS applications with Swift.

• 2+ years of experience in developing Flutter applications within production environments.

• Strong grasp of mobile application architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVI, or Redux-style state management.

• Experience in modernization or migration projects involving mobile applications.

• Familiarity with version control systems, including Git.

• Experience in writing unit and/or integration tests.

• Understanding of secure coding practices for mobile applications.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
