This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.
• Design, create, and maintain RESTful APIs utilizing .NET Core.
• Manage data from SQL (MS-SQL server) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases, along with external APIs.
• Ensure adherence to secure coding practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs with both frontend and backend systems.
• Enhance API performance and guarantee scalability.
• Develop unit and integration tests to uphold code quality.
• Engage in code reviews and contribute to ongoing improvement efforts.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate deployment processes.
• Employ modern developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to boost productivity where applicable.
• 3–5 years of experience in .NET Core and API development.
• Strong grasp of RESTful API design principles, software design patterns, and secure coding standards.
• Proficient with Entity Framework, SQL Server, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions), IaC (e.g., Terraform), and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Utilize modern AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, etc.) to enhance productivity where relevant.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a solid understanding of scalable system design.
• Basic knowledge of AI/LLM concepts or experience in utilizing AI APIs (e.g., simple integrations).
• Familiarity with tools or platforms offered by providers like Anthropic.
• Experience in developing, building, and deploying applications and platforms for financial services.
• Knowledge of core Azure services (Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Azure Front Door, Azure CDN).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
