Mid-level Backend Developer — PHP/Laravel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Utilize ITSM tools to monitor, manage, and respond to incidents and tickets.

• Support and maintain backend systems in production, ensuring service continuity, stability, and availability.

• Diagnose, identify, and resolve bugs, failures, and incidents in systems, data sources, integrations, and APIs for prompt and effective resolution.

• Analyze logs, metrics, and performance indicators to determine root causes and suggest corrective and preventive measures.

• Work with web crawlers for content analysis, extraction, and indexing purposes.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications by adhering to software development best practices, ensuring clean, efficient, secure, and sustainable code.

• Evaluate processes to identify improvement opportunities, proposing solutions that enhance development, support, and the deployment of new features.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quick resolution of critical issues and ongoing product evolution.

• Organize, prioritize, and manage tasks to meet deadlines and delivery expectations.

• Engage with internal teams and clients as necessary to gather requirements, align expectations, and resolve requests.

• Exhibit adaptability to new technologies, tools, and evolving requirements in fast-paced environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of backend development experience with PHP/Laravel.

• Proficient in JavaScript, Node.js, and Vue.js.

• Experienced with RESTful and SOAP API integrations.

• Familiar with relational databases (PostgreSQL and MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB and DynamoDB).

• Knowledgeable in code versioning tools, particularly Git.

• Understanding of microservices architecture.

• Awareness of web application security best practices and performance optimization techniques.

• Proven experience in developing web crawlers.

• Experienced in analyzing and resolving incidents within production environments.

• Skilled in application monitoring and observability analysis.

• Background in high-criticality environments.

• Proficient in leveraging Artificial Intelligence tools in software development to enhance productivity, support incident resolution, optimize code, and speed up the development cycle.

• Strong analytical skills for addressing complex problems with a keen attention to detail.

• Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem.
