• Overseeing and maintaining IT infrastructure based on Microsoft technologies, which includes:
• Windows Server, Windows 11, Entra ID, Active Directory, Intune,
• Exchange, and Office 365.
• Supervising the deployment, configuration, and support of both existing and
• upcoming migrations involving Microsoft technologies.
• Conducting regular updates, backups, and troubleshooting to ensure
• optimal and secure system operations.
• Managing user roles, permissions, and access controls to uphold a secure
• IT environment.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to facilitate various projects and initiatives.
• Offering technical expertise to ensure effective integration of servers, endpoints, and
• Microsoft services into NCUA’s overall IT strategy.
• Monitoring system performance and resolving any issues that may occur.
• Implementing and managing security policies to adhere to NCUA baselines,
• executive directives, and security requirements.
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for system configurations and
• procedures.
• Providing technical support and guidance to end-users and fellow IT staff.
• Engaging in disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory
• requirements.
• Managing software deployment and updates using tools such as SCCM and
• Intune.
• Implementing and upholding monitoring systems for both proactive and
• reactive support.
• Participating in on-call schedules and patch rotations to ensure continuous
• system availability.
• Maintaining M365 Conditional Access Policies.
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of ten years of experience in relevant IT domains, including end-user systems support, automated server builds, cloud-based deployments, and data center deployments.
• Proven experience in engineering, migration, troubleshooting, and support of technologies such as Entra ID, Active Directory, Exchange Online O365, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Azure.
• Possession of a public trust security clearance.
• Preferred Microsoft (MS) Certified Solutions Associate or similar certifications relevant to the listed technologies.
• Strong organizational skills: Capable of planning and prioritizing work effectively, following tasks through to completion while ensuring high standards and attention to detail.
• Teamwork: Ability to inspire and maintain interest in projects, comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team, and willing to constructively challenge ideas.
• Communication: Proficient in conveying information clearly and efficiently to team members and clients, both verbally and in writing, and capable of presenting ideas according to audience and context with excellent active listening skills.
