Mental Health Therapist – Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and collaboratively create evidence-based treatment strategies.

• Offer individual psychotherapy sessions through secure telehealth platforms.

• Assist Members facing various mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, while also being adaptable to support those with substance use disorders when necessary.

• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation in our electronic medical record (EMR) system.

• Coordinate care as required and foster a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

• Engage in clinical team meetings and optional case discussions.

• Comply with HIPAA regulations and all relevant state licensure standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active and verifiable license from one of the following Iowa licenses: LISW, LMFT, or LMHC, as well as your state of residence if it is not Iowa. All credentials must be validated through the State Board’s website as part of the application process.

• Experience in providing psychotherapy in outpatient, private practice, or telehealth environments.

• Excellent communication and clinical abilities with a person-centered, trauma-informed methodology.

• Proficiency with EMRs, Google Suite or Microsoft Office, and telehealth technologies.

• Capacity to work independently in a remote environment with professionalism and integrity.

• Must have a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace and stable internet access.
