Mental Health Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• The therapist in this role will be tasked with providing remote mental health therapy to both children and adults.

• All therapy sessions will occur via a virtual platform, so the candidate should be adept and comfortable using teleconferencing tools like Zoom, Google Meet, or WebEx.

• Documentation of client objectives, treatment advancements, and assessments is required for reporting and evaluating progress at the end of each therapy session.

• The selected candidate will receive a TalkNYC! email address for managing appointments and communications with staff and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• LMHC or MHC-LP (or actively pursuing MHC-LP).

• Complete progress notes and update the calendar within 24 hours of service delivery.

• Conduct initial intake, diagnostic evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.

• Maintain client records and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.

• Engage in case management, including care coordination, collaborating with referral sources, and connecting clients to necessary services.

• Attend weekly mandatory supervision sessions.
