Mental Health IOP Therapist – Full Time or Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Deliver individual and group psychotherapy services to adults participating in our Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).

• Create and uphold person-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans.

• Perform thorough mental health assessments and determine appropriate levels of care.

• Inform patients about their diagnoses, treatment methodologies, and strategies for symptom management to promote insight and empowerment.

• Develop and facilitate engaging psychoeducational and skills-based groups that concentrate on emotional regulation, coping strategies, and overall mental wellness.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, nurses, PRP specialists, and other therapists to deliver integrated mental health services.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of direct clinical experience in providing mental health treatment.

• A Master's degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related discipline.

• Active independent licensure: LCSW, LMSW, LCPC, or LGPC.

• Proficient understanding of CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care principles.

• Comfortable utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
