This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Deliver high-quality clinical care consistently that reflects the culture, values, and guiding principles of Rivia Mind.
• Manage and maintain an average weekly patient load of 31 across self-pay, insurance, and Medicare.
• Keep a regular weekly patient care schedule that aligns with Rivia Mind’s productivity standards.
• Adhere to Care Model practices that prioritize continuity of care, frequent follow-up appointments, and effective calendar management.
• Perform thorough intake evaluations and create tailored, patient-centered treatment plans.
• Implement appropriate Psychotherapy techniques utilizing various modalities (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, etc.).
• Offer clinical support and counseling to a diverse range of patient populations in a telehealth setting.
• Guide patients in managing ongoing health conditions and provide therapy to facilitate positive behavior changes.
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention for patients, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral issues.
• Adhere to clinical standards and ensure timely and comprehensive session note documentation.
• Foster a positive work culture that promotes a fun, collaborative, and co-learning environment that enhances individual well-being, self-improvement, and potential.
• Carry out other related responsibilities and team functions as directed by department and group leaders.
• Possession of an active Connecticut State License (LMSW/LPCA).
• Candidates must be license-eligible or hold an active associate-level license or permit (e.g., LMSW, LSW, LAC, MHC or equivalent).
• Alternatively, candidates should have up to 2 years of post-licensure experience (without independent licensure).
• Completion of the required licensure examination is preferred where applicable.
• Certifications in specific modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR) are advantageous.
• A Master's in Social Work or a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related graduate degree is required.
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in practicing Psychotherapy (Practicum clinical experience is applicable).
• Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
• Experience or interest in working with Couples is beneficial.
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Proficiency in utilizing various technology platforms and systems (Google Suite, company-wide platforms/software, and EHR platforms when applicable).
• Intermediate computer skills and technical aptitude are necessary.
• Three weeks of front-loaded PTO plus milestone increases.
