This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Deliver high-quality clinical care consistently that reflects Rivia Mind’s culture, values, and guiding principles.
• Manage and maintain an average of 31 patients weekly across self-pay, insurance, and Medicare.
• Adhere to a consistent weekly patient care schedule aligned with Rivia Mind’s productivity standards.
• Implement Care Model practices that prioritize continuity of care, high-frequency follow-up appointments, and efficient calendar management.
• Perform thorough intake evaluations and create personalized, patient-centered treatment plans.
• Utilize appropriate psychotherapy techniques that incorporate various modalities (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, etc.).
• Offer clinical support and counseling to a diverse range of patients in a telehealth setting.
• Guide patients in managing ongoing health conditions and provide therapeutic support to facilitate positive behavior changes.
• Offer counseling and crisis intervention for patients, including the assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral issues.
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards and maintain timely, comprehensive session note documentation.
• Foster a welcoming work atmosphere that promotes a fun, collaborative, and co-learning environment conducive to individual well-being, self-improvement, and potential.
• Undertake other related responsibilities and team functions as assigned by department and group leaders.
• Active Connecticut State License (LMSW/LPCA) - Candidates must be license-eligible or possess an active associate-level license or permit (e.g., LMSW, LSW, LAC, MHC or equivalent).
• OR possess up to 2 years of post-licensure experience (not independently licensed).
• Where applicable, completion of the required licensure examination is preferred.
• Certifications in specific modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR) are advantageous.
• Educational Background: Master's in Social Work or a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related graduate field.
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in practicing psychotherapy (Practicum clinical experience is applicable).
• Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
• Experience or interest in working with couples is beneficial.
• Strong teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Proficiency in utilizing various technology platforms and systems (Google Suite, company-wide platforms/software, and EHR systems when applicable).
• Intermediate computer skills and a solid technical aptitude are required.
