Member Service Representative I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Respond to incoming calls while maintaining the expected availability in a queued environment.

• Consistently meet productivity and call handling targets.

• Deliver exceptional service by addressing member inquiries regarding account activities, programs, policies, and procedures.

• Promptly return calls for escalated issues, ensuring all follow-up actions are completed accurately and efficiently.

• Attain established sales goals by cross-selling credit union products and services.

• Market products and services in line with marketing initiatives.

• Process various member transactions, including transfers, loan payments, and stop payments.

• Serve as a troubleshooter for online banking and payment services.

• Participate in department meetings and training sessions, staying informed about policies, procedures, and promotions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of one year of customer service experience with demonstrated sales and service skills.

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Capability to efficiently manage a high volume of inbound calls.

• Professional phone etiquette and a clear speaking voice.

• Effective oral communication skills, with proven listening abilities.

• Demonstrated resourcefulness and strong analytical skills.

• Proficiency in utilizing a Windows software environment.

• Desired typing speed of 35 words per minute.

• Ability to write clearly with a focus on grammar and composition.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
