This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
β’ Provides effective medical leadership within the Study team.
β’ Collaborates closely with other members of this interdisciplinary team.
β’ Delivers dependable, high-quality study data on schedule and within budget.
β’ Offers medical guidance to the study teams.
β’ Develops clinical trial protocols by incorporating the latest scientific advancements.
β’ Participates in site selection processes.
β’ Reviews and approves study protocols and amendments.
β’ Ensures the medical validity of each primary endpoint.
β’ Conducts real-time medical monitoring of clinical studies.
β’ Analyzes clinical trial data for regulatory documentation.
β’ Prepares and presents materials to the study executive and independent safety committee, if necessary.
β’ Ensures compliance with all medical aspects of the study by understanding and applying all relevant SOPs and GCP.
β’ A Medical Doctor or equivalent degree is required.
β’ Board certifications are preferred.
β’ Specialty education (e.g., residency/fellowship) in neurology is required.
β’ 1-3 years of experience in the industry is required.
β’ Neurologists with expertise in Pediatric Neurology or Neuromuscular diseases are highly preferred.
β’ Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is a must.
β’ Demonstrated understanding and experience with the NDA submission process.
β’ Proven knowledge of regulatory guidelines for adverse event reporting.
β’ Strong interpersonal skills that enable effective leadership of a study team.
